Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

I feel that a baby's first birthday is always a fun party to plan because you can choose what theme you want it to be. Once a kid is 3 or older they already know what they want for their birthday party to be Frozen,Dora, Spiderman, Barbie, etc!

For Lucy's First Birthday we went with the theme from a famous nursery rhyme, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." It turned out to be the absolute cutest theme ever!! I apologize in advance as the sun didn't cooperate with us for pictures.

Check it out!

The colors we used throughout were Gold,  Pink and GLITTER!

We kept it very simple but everything came out so adorable.
For centerpieces, we spray painted some old mason jars in gold
and added a couple pink flowers and a splash of purple flowers.
We made stars with a one, placed them on sticks and
added them onto the floral arrangement.

On the tables, I added a strip of chalkboard black paper as a table runner and drew chalk starts all over to symbolize a "galaxy" and added gold star stickers all around.

Our main table was again simple, but so cute.
The table included the cake, cupcakes, chalkboard sign and some additional decor.
We cut a bunch of stars and added them to our cupcakes and cake!

In addition we made some "Sparklin, Pink Lemonade" with cute milk jars and straws.

We made a smash cake for the birthday girl to enjoy.!

We decorated her high chair with a "ONE" sign and balloons!

Goodie bags were just simple sandwich bags with a cute gold glitter star.

Spiderman Hero 4th Birthday Party

Ask any 4 year old boy what theme they want their birthday party to be...?
SPIDERMAN IT IS!!
See how we made Mr. Jakob's birthday wish come true!

Here is a closer look at the snack/ dessert / candy table:

Everything was handmade and customized to the "spiderman" theme.

We spelled Jakobs name with wooden letters,
we purchased at Michael's, and painted them yellow.

The happy Birthday Sign!
We hand cut each letter and with white puffy paint we drew webs on each letter.

We gathered various vases for our candies and simply decorated them with ribbon or tissue paper and cutouts of spiderman logos and webs. We took some of the same puffy paint from the birthday sign and made more webs on tags .

One of my sisters had her son's birthday party the month before and had a lot of extra candy left. Unfortunately her son's birthday party was a "Carnival" theme,
so it did not go along so much with the Spiderman theme...
.....BUT we made it WORK!

These were colorful lollipops. We covered them with tissue paper and glued the spiderman logo on some and on the other we glued spiderman eyes! Closed them up with ribbon.

On others, we just glued the puffy paint web tags in the middle.

These were carnival popcorn boxes, but we turned them into SPIDER POPCORN.
We just covered the popcorn sign with tissue paper and added a web!

Some of our awesome Cupcakes that not only looked good but Tasted Delicious!

And finally the Spiderman Mask Cake!

We threw in our own twist on some games

our version of pin the tail on the donkey:

Rebekahs 3rd Birthday was a great success! Inspired by Disney's Movie Frozen, we decided to pursue this theme for her birthday party and "Let It Go..!" Enjoy as we share some of the decorations we made from cake, dessert, centerpieces, and goodies bags! Everything made from scratch with lots of Love!

Here are our DIY Invitations, we made. Tulle ribbon enclosed the invite with a foam snowflake sticker, and topped it off with some glitter! We kept the color theme going. With the magenta, purple and mint blue.  Inside, we designed the invitation with the birthday girl's picture!

Take a look at the finished product!

For our goodie bags, we decided to keep is simple yet cute without overspending. We included a candy bar, cookies and a special item. Boys received a bow tie and girls received a headband, which we handmade! We put it all in a sandwich paper bag and closed it with Jute Cord and Lace Ribbon along with their name tag, Girls had pink and Boys had Mint Blue. We stamped their names with white chalk ink and punched the corners!

This is how we packaged them, In clear bags with a cute tag with a few words from the Birthday Girl.
The tag said the following: " I loved the cake and presents too, but the best part was seeing you! Thank You for making my birthday so special. Love, Rebekah."

Now this is the best part of this party! The Piñata!
